Helping Students Feel Seen, Heard, and Supported: What’s New in TEAMology This Year

At TEAMology, we believe small check-ins can open big doors. This year, our newest platform features are designed to deepen connection, expand support, and give students more agency in their wellness journey.
Whole-Child Check-ins: Now Including Physical Wellness
Students don’t compartmentalize their feelings - and neither do we. That’s why we’ve added physical wellness questions to our daily check-ins. These new prompts invite students to share how their bodies are feeling—whether they’re tired, sick, hungry, or just off. Physical discomfort often goes unspoken, and now educators have more insight to support the whole child in real time.
A Clarifying Question - When Discomfort is High
When a student indicates high emotional discomfort on a check-in, context matters. That’s why we’ve added a clarification question that appears only in those higher-intensity moments. This optional question is designed to gently help students reflect on what’s contributing to how they’re feeling - without making it feel like a quiz or pressure to explain. It adds just a bit more clarity so educators can offer the right kind of support, faster.
Coaching Request Button: Empowering Students to Reach Out
Students now have the ability to take the first step toward support with a simple coaching request button on their dashboard. With one click, they can ask to connect with a trusted adult - making it easier for them to advocate for themselves and get the help they need, when they need it. It’s a small addition with huge impact, and one more way we’re putting students at the center of their own mental wellness journey.
These updates are live and already making a difference in the schools we serve. Thank you for being a part of the TEAM - and for continuing to champion the connection between social, emotional, and mental wellness in every classroom.
